Blanche followed Dan out to Australia a couple of years after he left England to work there on the railroads (circa 1910) and this is how they came to be wed in Australia.
Two daughters born in Australia then the family returned to England where a third daughter was born.
After her husband Dan died Blanche went out to live with her daughter Lena in Southern Rhodesia.

Mrs. Lucy Pocklington (nee Weightman) died on the 15th January 1924. She was buried 18th January 1924.
Mrs. L. Pocklington of Amber Hill was born in 1847 and was 77 when she died. At her burial family mourners:
