Individual Note:
Full name -Henry Theodore Augustus Bosanquet.
He was a naval officer who entered the RN in 1883 and promoted Lt. in 1892. He was attached to the Admiralty War Staff (Trade Division), 1914-15, and the RNAS and RF, 1915-18. In 1918-19 he was SNO Dakar. In the second world war he again served on the Admiralty Staff. He was appointed a CVO in 1934.
He was the Secretary of the Marine Society 1898-1917 and of King George's Fund for Sailors, 1921-39. He was the author of a well-known book on naval swords.
