Emma Hamilton was born Amy Lyon in 1765, daughter of a Cheshire blacksmith. For her own advancement she changed her name to Emma Hart. She was attractive and ambitious and in her teens escaped to London. Emma had three liaisons which helped to launch her into society and history - (all being well documented) - with George Romney, Sir William Hamilton and Lord Horatio
Nelson.
